The manufacturer of grain neutral spirits, food starches, dietary fibers and more names John Thorpe president, after several years with the company in feed ingredients and industrial starch products.

Grain Processing Corp., Muscatine, Iowa, appoints John Thorpe as president. He joined the company in 2002 as sales manager, feed ingredients and moved up to vice president of feed ingredients two years later and to vice president, industrial starch products in 2005. In 2008 Thorpe advanced to vice president for global sales.
