Brownie lovers from coast to coast can put their dessert dreams to the test in Dancing Deer Baking Co.’s “Crazy for Brownies!” Dessert Recipe Contest through Nov. 6, 2012.

The Boston-based company is inviting brownie lovers to submit their original brownie dessert recipes on its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/DancingDeer). Contestants can choose which of Dancing Deer’s brownies and squares will be showcased in their dessert recipe and share the story behind their submission, along with photos.

Dancing Deer and celebrity judges Nicole Coady, executive pastry chef with Finale Dessertie & Bakery, Boston, and Sara Ross, founder, owner and executive chef of Kickass Cupcakes, Boston, will assign “brownie points” to each recipe for creativity, originality and taste, and narrow the field to the top four contenders.

The American public will be invited to visit Dancing Deer’s Facebook page from Nov. 15-26, 2012, and vote to determine the ultimate brownie dessert recipe. Finalists will be encouraged to drum up votes with their friends, fans and followers via social media.

All finalists will receive Dancing Deer brownies for six months and have their recipe featured on the “Award Winning Brownie Dessert Recipe Card,” which will be included in select Dancing Deer brownie gifts shipped throughout the United States this holiday season.

The grand prize winner will receive a year’s supply of Dancing Deer brownies and a $250 cash prize and be featured on Dancing Deer’s Facebook page, website (www.dancingdeer.com) and e-newsletter.
