Akro-Mils has hired Doug Trasatt as director of sales and marketing. He oversees all sales, marketing and communications initiatives for the Akron, Ohio-based company, which designs and manufactures storage, organization and transport products.

Before joining Akro-Mils, Trasatt was sales and marketing manager for Katy Industries Inc., Bridgeton, Mo., a manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products.
