The Independent Bakers Association (IBA), Washington, appointed its new executive officers at its 39th Annual IBA Meeting, held June 18-19. An extended board of directors was also accepted at the meeting.

IBA’s 2013 executive officers are chairman Ron Cardey, BelPastry, Omaha, Neb.; first vice chairman Joe Davis, McKee Foods, Collegedale, Tenn.; second vice chairman Scott Barth, Barth Packaging, Coplay, Pa.; secretary Brian Stevenson, B. Stevenson Associates, Kansas City, Mo.; and treasurer Heidi Brenner, Quality Bakers Inc., Knoxville, Tenn. Len Amoroso, Amoroso Baking Co., Philadelphia, is past chairman.
