Ingredion Inc., Westchester, Ill., names Ricardo Rodriguez marketing manager for its Confectionery segment. He supports the development and execution of business plans, positioning the segment for growth. He also collaborates with product development and other cross-functional teams to bring new solutions to manufacturing partners, including cost optimization, quality control and on-trend, innovative product and formulation solutions.

During his more than 15 years in the food industry, Rodriguez has worked primarily with carbohydrates in various applications and held key positions within research, applications and product development. He has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Caldwell College and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
