Product Snapshot: DeMet’s Candy Co. unveiled a new flavor addition to its line of FLIPZ chocolate-covered pretzels at the National Confectioners Association’s Sweets & Snacks Expo in May. Birthday Cake joins existing flavors Milk Chocolate, White Fudge, Chocolate Mint and Dark Chocolate on retail shelves this fall. FLIPZ pretzels are slow-baked in a traditional brick oven using a proprietary recipe, then instantly enrobed in chocolate to lock in their freshness.
