Georgia Nut Company announces management changes
John Drehobl named Director of Sales and Marketing; Kurt Thorsen named VP of Business Development
Georgia Nut Company, a family owned confections, nuts, and snacks manufacturer, has announced changes in sales management. Georgia Nut is proud to announce the promotion of John Drehobl to Director of Sales and Marketing. He will supervise sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, and demand planning. John started as a Sales Representative in 2008 and has held several positions within the sales team.
Kurt Thorsen now takes the new role of Vice President of Business Development. Kurt will be focused on strategic growth platforms including an initiative to enter the dietary supplement and “Better for You” markets. Georgia Nut has made capital investment to become organic and CFR111 compliant to support this initiative.
“John and Kurt are integral members of our sales division,” President Rick Drehobl said. “Georgia Nut is very excited to see what the future holds with John at the helm and Kurt driving new business.”
