Product Snapshot: New PowerBar Plant Protein Bars are the first plant-based snack bar released by the brand as part of its Clean Start, which is an ongoing effort to evolve the product portfolio with cleaner ingredient labels and great tasting products. These bars are a flavorful and better-tasting option not typically seen in the plant protein category.
PowerBar Plant Protein bars include a few, simple ingredients like nuts, seeds and crisped rice and are dipped and drizzled with dark chocolate for a tasty wholesome snack on-the-go. With no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners, the bars’ high-quality protein comes from cashews, almonds or peanuts (depending on the flavor), pea protein crisps and rice protein crisps.
The new PowerBar Plant Protein bars are made with nuts, seeds, and crisped rice, are free of artificial flavors or sweeteners, and are dipped in dark chocolate. Each bar contains 10-11g of plant-based protein (from almond, cashew, or peanuts sources, depending on flavor), and 7-8g fiber. The three flavors at launch will be:
