Equipment Snapshot: At interpack 2017, held May 4-10 in Dusseldorf, Germany, Sesotec presented a variety of new products. The RAYCON EX1 X-ray scanner, INTUITY metal detector, and CAPTURA FLOW sorting system demonstrated Sesotec's technology strong points in the competence fields of product inspection and food sorting.
With the new RAYCON EX1, Sesotec provides an easy-to-use entry-level system for the X-ray inspection of packed products, a product segment for which Sesotec before had no systems in its portfolio. Sesotec customers now can have a full-fledged X-ray system in German industry quality.
The INTUITY metal detector is Sesotec's new flagship in metal detection. It simultaneously inspects food materials with several frequencies and thus reaches extremely high scanning sensitivities. At the same time, it offers improved ease of operation with the new INTUITY Control operating panel.
With its variable use of sensors the CAPTURA FLOW food sorting system offers the advantage of outstanding flexibility. Depending on the type of food that should be sorted the CAPTURA FLOW multi-sensor system can be adapted to the respective sorting requirements. The modular design allows sensor upgrades at any time, which for the customer means that the system is a safe investment for the future.
