Menasha Packaging Company, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation and the industry’s largest independent, retail-focused packaging and merchandising solutions provider, has named Michael Riegsecker chief operating officer.
In this newly created position, Riegsecker, formerly Menasha Packaging’s senior vice president – sales, will oversee operations, drive efficiencies, and focus on advancing strategic opportunities to fully leverage Menasha’s position as a leading turn-key solutions provider that adds value throughout the supply chain. He continues to report to Mike Waite, president of Menasha Packaging.

With 25 years’ experience at Menasha, he is an ideal choice for this important new position, and I look forward to having him play a continued significant role in the future of our company.” Since joining Menasha, Riegsecker has held a number of positions of increasing importance in a variety of functions, including production, plant management, sales support, general management and sales management. In his new position, he will continue to be based at Menasha’s corporate headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Riegsecker came to Menasha Packaging from International Paper. He holds a degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana.
