Aligned with its business growth objectives, Rexfab Inc., Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, confirmed a distribution agreement with GHD Georg Hartmann Maschinenbau, Delbrück, Germany for the Canadian and American baking industry market.

“Slicing, bagging and clipping technologies offered by GHD Hartmann will be a perfect complement to Rexfab existing slicer feed solutions, as well as basket handling equipment,”, said Patrice Painchaud, vice president, sales and marketing, Rexfab.

Stefan Busche, sales manager of GHD Hartmann added: “As of today we are offering integrated packaging solutions to Canadian and US bakers, leveraging 100+ years of experience, 5000 units shipped in more than 50 countries.”

As part of this distribution agreement, Rexfab will handle sales, service and parts for GHD Hartmann in Canada and the US starting immediately for the traditional bread and roll markets. Lawrence Equipment, El Norte, California remains the agent for GHD Hartmann for the tortillas bagging market.

The announcement coincides with Rexfab’s business expansion project aimed at supporting its worldwide clientele. Rexfab moved into a larger factory in March 2016 to meet growing global demand.
