FPSA Bakery Council announces speakers for 2018 annual conference

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) is pleased to announce the slate of speakers for the bakery breakout sessions for the 2018 FPSA Annual Conference, taking place March 21-23 at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

The bakery track will feature Chad Larson, vice president of manufacturing at Palermo Villa who will present his topic - What's Real? OEM's Owe Their Customers Real, Clear, Start-up Expectations.

Mr. Larson will be joined on the program by Program Manager for Global Engineering of the Campbell Soup Company, Sinclair Powell who will address Factory Acceptance Test Planning. Additionally, both speakers will participate in the inaugural Attendee/Speaker Networking Roundtable session taking place on Friday March 23rd, giving attendees a chance to discuss these important topics face-to-face with the experts and gain a better understanding from the customer's perspective. 

"This is why FPSA members come to the Annual Conference," said Ken Hagedorn, chair of the FPSA Bakery Council and vice president of sales & marketing at Naegele, Inc. "Where else will you get a chance to sit down with leading bakery professionals who are willing to tell you what they want to see in their business from their suppliers? It represents not only a great networking opportunity for FPSA members but also a chance to learn from these key processors and apply the lessons to other clients and prospects."

"In addition to these excellent Bakery speakers, this year's Conference features great keynotes and a customer panel session that cuts across all industry segments to address the topic of food safety and sanitary design," said David Seckman, FPSA president and CEO. "One of the strengths of FPSA and our events is that we represent all segments of the food and beverage industry. This will certainly be reflected in the food safety panel which will offer members with a clearer picture of how this critical topic is being addressed in not only the various industry segments but also in retail. This will generate cross-pollination ideas and opportunities not just for our attendees but also for their customers." 

Registration for the 2018 FPSA Annual Conference is now open on-line at www.fpsa.org. The early-bird registration rate of $850 for FPSA members is effect until February 22nd.
