Imagination meets innovation at SNAXPO18

SNAXPO18 will take place March 12–14, 2018 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Unlike any other industry event, SNAXPO showcases innovation across every aspect of the market, bringing together suppliers and producers, innovators and game-changers from the entire snack supply chain.

The Opening Reception will take place on Monday from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the nearby College Football Hall of Fame.

On Tuesday, SNAXPO18 will open with breakfast at 8:00 am and a presentation by IRI’s Sally Lyons Wyatt discussing “New and Emerging Snack Trends,” followed by the morning keynote from Jonah Berger, Ph.D., associate professor of marketing at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, on “Decision-Making, Consumer Behavior, Word of Mouth, and How Products and Ideas Become Popular.”

The Trade Show will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on both Monday and Tuesday. Both days will also feature Latin American Track presentations in Spanish, featuring leadership from Alimentos Jack’s, Arca Continental and Euromonitor. The Innovation Stage will highlight equipment and technology innovations from Urschel, tna, Honeywell, FAM Stumabo, Heat and Control and C.W. Brabender Instruments.

The Flavor Pavilion, sponsored by Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery, will showcase samples of cutting-edge flavors from exhibiting flavor and seasoning suppliers. Attendees can vote on their favorites to determine the 2018 SNAXPO “Flavor of the Year.”

During Wednesday’s morning session, Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery will present its 2018 “Snack Producer of the Year” award. Robert J. O’Neill, a former SEAL Team Six leader and best-selling author, will then deliver a keynote presentation centered on his mantra of “Never Quit.”

Afternoon education sessions will feature presentations from Martin Hahn of Hogan Lovells presenting a “Snack Industry Regulatory and Legal Update,” and Euromonitor’s Jared Koerten on “State of Global Snacking: Trends, Growth and Channel Disruption.”

The Closing Reception, featuring the “Flavor of the Year” announcement, will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday.

SNAXPO19 will take place March 31 to April 2, 2019, in Orlando.
