Product Snapshot: Pop Art Snacks has debuted its newest variety, Hawaiian Black Sea Salt, earlier this month at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim. The popcorn features the robust and rich flavor of the Hawaiian black sea salt, with a clean and creamy finish from the avocado oil.

The ‘Pop Art answer’ to a simple salted popcorn, the Hawaiian Black Sea Salt flavor was inspired by the continued need for more guiltless snacking options. “With healthful benefits from both the Hawaiian black sea salt and the avocado oil, we are answering the call from many of our customers who are looking for simple ways to improve the quality of their snacks,” says founder Mike Dobson. “The Hawaiian black sea salt is loaded with trace minerals and gets it’s color by infusing pure sea salt from the Pacific Ocean with premium quality activated charcoal, which is made from coconut shells. Activated charcoal is helpful in removing unwanted substances from the body. Avocado oil is the natural oil pressed from the pulp of an avocado, rich in oleic acid, antioxidants and Vitamins A, E and D.”

Dobson continues, “our popcorn is air-popped, made with non-GMO corn, and already certified gluten-free and kosher, so this is just one more step in the direction to enhance a healthful snacking experience.”

The Hawaiian Black Sea Salt popcorn is available in a 4 oz. bag, with an MSRP of $3.99. The new product will be available to ship on April 15, in retail stores on May 1.
