In addition to evaluating workplace policies, practices, and demographics, Crain’s surveyed 8,800 employees at Chicago-based companies on everything from benefits to career paths to culture to determine the Top 100.

This is the second year Edlong has been recognized by Crain’s. Last year, the company was heralded as one of Chicago’s Best Places to Work for Minorities. Earlier this year, Edlong was recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation by the National Association for Business Resources, as well as one of the Healthiest Companies in America by Interactive Health.
