Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) has announced that Doug Shepard has joined the company as chief financial officer. Shepard brings a wealth of leadership experience from various companies and has been instrumental in developing financial strategies to support a company’s growth. As chief financial officer, Shepard will be responsible for both the accounting and financial arms of FSNS.

Prior to joining FSNS, Shepard held the CFO position at the following companies: Acuity Eyecare Holdings LLC, an eyeware retailer, Harte Hanks, Inc., a publicly-listed marketing services provider, and HVHC Inc., an international eyeware holding company, with retail stores, manufacturing and insurance services. During Shepard’s tenure, Harte Hanks continued the evolution of its product offerings with several sizable acquisitions and divestitures. Additionally, HVHC Inc., more than tripled its store count and exceeded 1 billion in revenue during Shepard’s tenure.
Shepard received his business degree with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio and is a Certified Public Accountant.
