Technology Snapshot: T&D Corporation, the only manufacturer of wireless and stand-alone data loggers providing free, unlimited cloud data storage, today announced the release of the updated T&D Thermo which is free for iOS and Android users. The app has been updated to communicate with T&D’s new Bluetooth TR-7wb Series of data loggers for one-step uploading of collected data to the company’s WebStorage Service. The WebStorage Service can be accessed via a browser or T&D Thermo.

The T&D Thermo App can collect recorded data from multiple TR-7wb loggers via a Bluetooth connection. Once downloaded, the files can be viewed graphically, stored on the Smart Device, sent off as an email attachment or uploaded to T&D’s free WebStorage Service. The App also allows the user to make logger settings, such as recording parameters, alarm thresholds and network settings. T&D Thermo is compatible with iOS 10 or later and Android 4.4 or later. It’s available now in both the App Store and the Google Play store.

The update to T&D Thermo was developed in tandem with the new TR-7wb Series released in early 2019. The TR-7wb is ideal for a broad range of industries including food handling and processing, medical, bio-sampling and industrial processes. Temperature and humidity data measured by the loggers can now be automatically uploaded, stored and viewed on mobile devices anytime and from anywhere through T&D Thermo.
