Product Snapshot: Garrett Popcorn Shops, a Chicago tradition since 1949, is launching into Chicagoland grocers for the first time. The iconic brand is introducing four, new recipes that set the bar (yet again) for indulgent gourmet popcorn that make you wonder: is it a snack or is it a dessert? 

Inspired by their world-renowned CaramelCrisp recipe, which Garrett Popcorn has perfected for over 70 years right in Chicago, these nostalgically new recipes continue to prove that nothing tastes as good as Garrett:

• S'mores (6 oz bag) – With real graham crackers and a chocolatey coating that takes you back to those campfire days.
• Simply Strawberry (5.5 oz bag) - With real strawberries and white CaramelCrisp for a delightfully bright crunch.
• Simply Cocoa (5.5 oz bag) - With real cocoa powder and CaramelCrisp for a sweet and salty indulgence.
• Simply Matcha (6 oz bag)- With real green tea powder from Japan and CaramelCrisp for a creamy balance.

Each bag is individually sealed- and resealable- to keep kernels fresher. New retailers across Chicagoland are vying to be the first to add Garrett Popcorn to their shelves. Binny’s Beverage Depot is carrying the new items across their chain, along with many specialty grocers from Big Apple Finer Foods and Potash Market, downtown, to Sunset Foods and Pete’s Fresh Market in the suburbs.  Prices vary by retailer, around $6.49 per bag.
