Nutri-Grain debuts refreshed packaging, formula
The new snack is currently rolling out nationwide.

After more than 30 years as a snack, Kellanova's Nutri-Grain brand is debuting a new chapter. As part of a full brand refresh, Nutri-Grain’s signature bars now feature 10 g of whole grains and 10 vitamins and minerals—all wrapped in a new design.
Nutrition is leading the charge: whole grains remain one of the most under-consumed essentials, with most Americans getting less than two-thirds of the daily recommendation, the company says. A recent study conducted by Tufts University (Caputo, 2022) found whole grain consumption anywhere from just 39% to 61% of what's advised by experts. Nutri-Grain’s upgraded bars aim to help close that gap with purposeful, accessible nourishment, it says. “This refresh is about giving people the nutrition they want and need—in a way that feels familiar, but even more relevant to what they look for in a snack,” says Eileen Flaherty, brand marketing director at Kellanova. “We’ve upgraded the nutrition, and made it easier to navigate the shelf while still delivering the delicious flavor Nutri-Grain is known for.”Nutri-Grain’s reimagined bars reportedly include a delicate crumble and a fruit-flavored filling—from strawberry to apple cinnamon and everything in between. Nutri-Grain’s new bars are currently rolling out now nationwide, across all core flavors.
