Bobo's expands lineup, debuts refreshed packaging
The snack brand is introducing raspberry- and cherry-filled varieties.

Bobo’s, the oat snack brand, is unveiling a new chapter for its packaging, alongside more of its products. Beginning in April, Bobo’s PB&Js will transition from 4-count to 5-count packs, and Bobo’s Oat Bites will grow from 5-count to 6-count packs, to better meet consumer needs.
At the same time, the brand is introducing its most significant packaging redesign since 2016, it says: a bold refresh designed to modernize shelf presence while staying rooted in its Colorado-baked heritage.
The updated packaging introduces a high-impact visual system anchored by:
- A modernized Bobo character, now featured within a circular badge seal reading “Baked with Love in Colorado.” The refreshed illustration aims to feel cleaner, more confident, and iconic, transforming “Bobo” from a large front-panel illustration into a recognizable brand mark.
- Vivid, flavor-forward Pantone color blocking, including a sky-blue brand banner paired with saturated flavor fields, creating greater shelf differentiation and improved brand blocking at retail.
- Streamlined front-of-pack architecture, with clearer product naming (“Oat Bites” prominently centered), simplified typography, and a more contemporary layout.
- More intuitive claims organization, with certifications and product attributes systemized for easier navigation.
According to the company, the redesign shifts from a text-heavy, illustration-forward format to a cleaner, more modern expression, balancing warmth and nostalgia with improved readability and shelf standout.
“Our new look reflects who Bobo’s is today—confident, joyful, and built to stand out. This redesign puts our product front and center, with bold, high-impact food photography that showcases the quality and craftsmanship of our delicious snacks that set us apart in the category,” says Henry Hughes, EVP of marketing. “We’ve preserved the heart of our brand while creating a stronger, more cohesive presence at shelf and across every retail channel.”
Additionally, in direct response to consumer purchase behavior and high in-home consumption, Bobo’s is expanding its multipack offerings:
- PB&Js is changing from a 4-count to 5-count package
- Oat Bites is changing from a 5-count to 6-count package
The new Oat Bites packaging features a bold vertical banner calling out “Now with 6 Bites!” to clearly communicate the added value, reinforcing Bobo’s commitment to providing satisfying, pantry-ready snacks for families, lunchboxes, and on-the-go moments, the brand says.
Alongside the refreshed look and expanded packs, Bobo’s is introducing two new flavor innovations:
- Raspberry PB&J – A nostalgic twist on a lunchbox classic, featuring soft-baked peanut butter-y whole grain oats and vibrant raspberry filling.
- Cherry Pie Oat Bite – A bakery-inspired bite packed with real cherry flavor and the brand's signature soft-baked texture.
The refreshed 5-count PB&Js and 6-count Oat Bites are now rolling out to retailers nationwide, with expanded distribution continuing through Q2 2026.
