Catalina Snacks, purveyor of better-for-you snacks and cereals, is breaking into the granola aisle with the debut of Catalina Crunch Protein Granola. The lower-sugar granola is rolling out now and will be available by the end of the year at Walmart, Publix, Amazon, Target, Sprouts, Hy-Vee, ShopRite, King Soopers, Harris Teeter, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, and online at catalinacrunch.com.
Catalina Crunch Protein Granola includes 13 g of protein and 1-2 g of sugar, plus fiber in every serving. The three flavors include Honey Cashew, Peanut Butter, and Vanilla Almond, and are made with wholesome ingredients like real nuts, gluten-free oat, soy, and rice crisps, and Catalina Crunch cereal.
“We created this Protein Granola to fill a real gap, as many breakfast and snack options are either loaded with sugar or lacking in substance,” says Sam Martin, chief revenue and marketing officer at Catalina Snacks. “Our Protein Granola gives consumers what they’ve been asking for—real nutrition, great taste, and satisfying crunch, with none of the compromises. And of course, it delivers on taste—because ultimately, if it doesn’t taste good, nothing else matters.”
The launch comes as Catalina Crunch continues to see growth across the board, building on the momentum of its protein cereal and snack mix, now stocked in over 28,000 stores nationwide, it says.
