Bay State Milling announces leadership changes
Erickson joins as VP of technology, and Amaral is promoted to VP of finance and treasury.

Bay State Milling Co. has announced new leadership appointments and internal promotions.
Chris Erickson joined the company on August 12 as vice president of technology. Based in Minneapolis, MN, Erickson will lead efforts to strengthen Bay State Milling’s IT infrastructure and business applications, while developing long-term technology strategies.
Erickson brings 20 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity across manufacturing, distribution, and food and beverage sectors. He most recently served as vice president of IT and cybersecurity at Rahr Corporation.
“As a century-old company, Bay State Milling has seen a lot of change over the years,” says chief financial officer Alain Hanna. “Part of our strength is continuing to learn, grow, and innovate. This includes manufacturing infrastructure, but also cybersecurity, data and analytics operations, and deploying our resources in the most effective, efficient ways. By bringing Chris’ expertise into the mix, we are excited to see where we go next.”
In addition, Elidio Amaral has been promoted to vice president of corporate finance and treasury. Amaral joined Bay State Milling in May 2015 and previously served as senior director of corporate finance.
“This promotion recognizes the significant work Elidio has done, and continues to do, to ensure our finance and treasury functions operate efficiently, with strong oversight and controls, while keeping the needs of our business and stakeholders top of mind,” says Hanna.
These leadership changes reflect Bay State Milling’s continued investment in infrastructure and financial stewardship to support long-term innovation and resilience.
