Signode highlights PACK EXPO presence
The company will display its integrated systems and new packaging technologies

Signode, a global manufacturer of transit packaging equipment, warehouse automation, and aftermarket support solutions, will highlight its integrated systems and new packaging technologies at PACK EXPO 2025. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from September 29–October 1, visitors to booth W-2564 can explore how Signode technologies work together to create cohesive, high-performance systems for today’s packaging environments.
“One of the best parts of PACK EXPO is having real conversations with the packaging community and finding out what they need,” says Rick Hantke, senior director of marketing and product management at Signode. “The innovative products and integrated solutions we’re showcasing this year are shaped by those conversations and reflect how we continue to evolve alongside our customers.”
Signode will debut the Octopus Prestige stretch wrapper, the next generation of its automation portfolio. Building on its predecessor’s capabilities, the new model features record-breaking speed and reduced film usage, enabled by the Double-S film carriage system designed to improve film conversion.
“The Octopus Prestige stretch wrapper is more than just fast. It's smart, efficient, and built to last,” says Jyri Lehtiö, business development director. “It’s the result of listening to our customers and delivering a solution that meets their real needs.”
Signode will also present a unified view of its portfolio, demonstrating how smart automation, reliable tools, and high-performance consumables work together to solve transit packaging challenges. In-booth demonstrations will feature an integrated end-of-line system that includes Simplimatic robotic palletizers and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) with enhanced lifting capabilities, operating in-line with the Octopus Prestige stretch wrapper. Combined with the StorFast automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), the setup illustrates how Signode delivers flexible automation systems that support consistency, efficiency, and reliability.
Attendees will also see Signode’s case handling solutions, including the newly introduced Little David LDX-RC—a compact, semi-automatic box opener designed to replace manual box cutting in high-volume decanting operations. Built on the LDX-RTB case sealing platform, the LDX-RC features a new tape cutting cartridge for efficient, high-speed case opening. Additional demonstrations will include the BXT4 hand tool, the fully automated SGP3330 strapping machine, and the new Dylastic Pro strap, showcasing the benefits of pairing high-quality consumables with Signode equipment.
Signode’s approach is further supported by its Engineered Solutions portfolio, which includes custom protective packaging, dunnage, and transit packaging designed to enhance operations and support long-term success. All offerings are backed by Packaging Plus Reliability Services, which include remote monitoring via IoT capabilities and on-site support from the Customer Experience Center and Packaging Lab in Roselle, IL.
