Thomas' High Protein Bagels hit shelves
The better-for-you option is now available across the U.S. for SRP $5.99.

Thomas' High Protein Bagels, available in Plain and Everything flavors, are rolling out nationwide. Each bagel contains 20 g of protein, 3 g of sugar, and is gluten-free. The product is designed for consumers seeking higher protein intake as part of their morning routine.
The bagels feature a plant-based protein blend that includes soy protein isolate, pea protein isolate, and fava bean protein, formulated to provide a complete amino acid profile and a firm texture.
“Today's consumers are looking for convenient, protein-rich options that don't compromise on taste,” says Jinder Bhogal, senior brand manager for Thomas'. “Our new High Protein Bagels offer consumers variety with a breakfast solution that's not only packed with nutrition but also rooted in the iconic flavor Thomas' is known for.”
Nicole Alper, innovation manager, says, “We set out to create a protein-forward product that fits into real life—whether you're topping it with cream cheese, eggs, or avocado. It's versatile, satisfying, and designed with wellness in mind.”
Thomas' High Protein Bagels are currently available in the Northeast and are expected to roll out nationally by October 2025. The suggested retail price is $5.99.
