Barebells is now bringing something unique to the American protein bar market, the company says: a peanut butter protein bar with a fruity, raspberry filling inside. Barebells Peanut Butter & Jelly offers a nostalgic flavor, with 20 g of protein and no added sugar.

Consumers of the Barebells Peanut Butter Original Protein Bar will recognize the taste of peanut butter, but this new variety offers a jelly filling—for the first time carefully placed in the center of the bar, which truly distinguishes the berry flavor, the brand says. The bar uses real freeze-dried raspberries for its jelly center.

“It is the classic you grew up loving, but with a Barebells twist! We’ve worked hard to be able to offer something that truly reassembles the nostalgic flavor and are really proud of our gooey raspberry jelly filling. As always, the protein bar has 20 grams of protein and no added sugar. Some favorites only get better with time!” says Isa Galvan, global brand manager at Barebells.  

Peanut Butter & Jelly joins Barebells’ Original Bar range, which includes flvors such as Cookies & Cream, Coco Caramel Almond, Peanut Butter, and Caramel Cashew.

The Barebells Original Bar Peanut Butter & Jelly launched exclusively in the U.S. on January 1 and is available for purchase at shop.barebells.com. The bar is also available at Vitamin Shoppe and Walmart, with additional retailer partners to follow.
