Redefine Foods banks on ‘newstalgia’ with Skippy pies

Redefine Foods is expanding its lineup of protein offerings with the launch of the new Marshmallow Skippy Oatmeal Protein Pie, a soft-baked oatmeal sandwich pie featuring Skippy Natural Peanut Butter Spread and a marshmallow-flavored filling. Inspired by classic flavors, the new snack aims to deliver a nostalgic snacking experience with the added benefit of protein to help fuel busy lifestyles, the company says.
The Marshmallow Skippy Oatmeal Protein Pie combines soft oatmeal cookies, Skippy Natural Peanut Butter Spread, and a sweet marshmallow-flavored center. Each pie contains 14 g of protein and is made with gluten-free oats. The snack also includes 8 g of dietary fiber.
"At Redefine Foods, our goal is to reinvent familiar snacks with better ingredients and functional nutrition without sacrificing taste," says CEO Kyung Kim. "The new Marshmallow Skippy Oatmeal Protein Pie brings together two iconic flavors in a format that consumers can enjoy anytime, whether they need a quick snack between meetings, after a workout, or on the road."
The launch continues Redefine Foods' mission of helping consumers enjoy the foods they love while making smarter snacking choices, the company shares. Rather than creating traditional nutrition snacks that feel restrictive, the company focuses on transforming nostalgic favorites into convenient snacks that deliver both flavor and function, it adds.
The new flavor joins Redefine Foods' growing collection of protein-enhanced snacks designed for health-conscious consumers, active families, athletes, and anyone looking for an alternative to ordinary snack foods, the company says. The Marshmallow Skippy Oatmeal Protein Pie can be enjoyed straight from the wrapper or warmed briefly.
The Marshmallow Skippy Oatmeal Protein Pie is now available at RedefineSnacks.com and exclusively at GNC stores nationwide.
