The 14th-annual Food Safety Summit will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., April 17-19, 2012, with pre-conference sessions on April 16. Owned and operated by media producer BNP Media, Troy, Wis., the event includes a variety of expert speakers and trainers, an expansive exhibit floor where attendees can find solutions to current challenges and networking events that offer the opportunity to exchange valuable ideas.

A must industry gathering that focuses on solutions for today and planning for tomorrow, the Food Safety Summit will also highlight:

  •    An expanded conference program starting Monday, April 16, with three certification programs covering ServSafe, I-FIIT and HACCP training. Industry experts will lead six half-ay workshops covering Effective Risk Communication; Pre-Requisite Programs; Best Practices for Retail, Foodservice and Grocery Operations; Food Defense led by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); Food Liability and Media Training.
