AIB International, Manhattan, Kan., has completed updates of four of its 11 Consolidated Standards for Inspection. Regulatory developments, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Food Safety Modernization Act, and other industry best practices impacting the food industry worldwide, made the updates necessary.
The new requirements for the first four standards will take effect Jan. 1, 2013. Changes to the other standards will be completed in a rollout in 2013.
