B&CMA seeks new president
After 17 years, Stacey Sharpless will step down this year as president of the Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturers’ Association (B&CMA). To ensure a smooth leadership transition, the B&CMA board has established a committee to search for a new president. Members of the committee are Ray Frawley, Mondelez International; Chris Wilkins, ConAgra Foods; Todd Wallen, Ellison Bakery; and Bill Quigg, Richmond Baking.
“We believe it is very important that our future president be a current member of the cookie and cracker industry, as an industry expert will best serve our membership and understand our offerings and their application,” says Quigg in a press release.
The committee is accepting resumes at www.thebcma.org/association-president-job-position. Resumes will be received only by the committee, and applicants will remain confidential until later stages of the search process.
A job description will be posted on B&CMA’s website soon, according to Quigg, and a notification sent out once it's posted. “We hope to have this process complete in the next one to two months, and have the individual start soon thereafter,” he adds.
