Rudolph Foods Co. Inc., a leading pork rinds manufacturer, is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Sept. 14-20, with a 10-week campaign that began July 15. The Lima, OH-based company will pay tribute to truck drivers across America by asking them to submit a photo of their “rig” for a chance to win $1,500 and a year’s supply of pork rinds. The campaign is supported by brands that include Rudolph’s, Southern Recipe, Pepe’s and Lee’s Pig Skins. Details of the campaign can be found on PorkRinds.com.

From now until Aug. 17, truck drivers across America can enter the contest by submitting a photo of their rig, inside or out, to be voted as one of the best rigs on the road. Drivers can submit their photos via Facebook or a photo uploader on PorkRinds.com. On Aug. 18, a panel of experts will choose the top eight submissions, and consumers will then be asked to vote for their favorite rig on Facebook.

“We salute these men and women who are at the very foundation of our company and our dinner tables,” says Mark Singleton, vice president sales and marketing, Rudolph Foods. “Hosting a contest for truckers to show off their rig for a chance to win cash and a crunchy road-time snack is our way of saying thank you.”

Members of the community, Facebook fans, friends and family of truck drivers across America are encouraged to follow along with the campaign using hashtags #TruckDriverAppreciationWeek and #TruckDriver, in addition to voting for their favorite photo.
