Powered by one AAA battery, the timer features a large, easy-to-read LCD display that shows running time in minutes and seconds. The timer can count down or up over a preset period, up to 99 minutes. A loud beeping announces the end of the set period. The timer’s case is made from Detectamet’s metal-detectable polymer and features both a strong magnet, so the unit can be attached to a metal surface, and a flip-out stand, so it can sit on a surface. Measuring 2.5 inches tall by 3 inches wide, it also fits into most pockets.
