Horizon Bradco, Schenectady, NY, has acquired Burke Food Equipment Inc., expanding its presence in the Southeast. The acquisition brings together two strategically aligned businesses to better support supermarkets and other customers in the region. It also provides Horizon Bradco with a physical location in South Carolina and an expanded service network.

J.D. Burke, founder of Burke Food Equipment, brings complementary experience as an equipment distributor and service provider. He has extensive experience in technical service, sales and customer support. The Burke Food Equipment office in Spartanburg, SC, will remain to serve the Southeast region.
