The Scone Shop is continuing to expand throughout North Carolina with Whole Foods Market Cary as its newest retail partner.

“We have a long-standing partnership with several Whole Foods Market locations and are excited to welcome the Cary store to our family of retail partners,” said Fielding Williams, founder and owner of The Scone Shop. “We look forward to bringing our fresh, handmade scones to the Cary community and appreciate Whole Foods Market for helping make it happen.”

Four of The Scone Shop’s flavors–Cinnamon Chip, Cranberry Orange, Chocolate Cinnachip and Spinach Feta–are available in the freezer section at Whole Foods Market at Waverly Place Shopping Center (102 New Waverly Place in Cary). With the addition of this location, the Scone Shop’s scones are now available in 16 retail locations–including eight Whole Foods Markets–throughout the Carolinas.

All of The Scone Shop’s scones are handmade frozen, ready-to-bake scone dough using original recipes with simple ingredients such as rolled oats, flour, eggs, milk and butter. Each sweet flavored package makes eight medium-sized scones while the savory flavor makes 12 smaller scones, which can be baked one at a time or the whole batch at once. Scone flavors include: Cinnamon Chip, Cranberry Orange, Butterscotch Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Cinnachip, Spinach Feta and Bacon Cheddar. Its scones are available at retail locations in the freezer section spanning Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Durham, Raleigh, Cary and Columbia, S.C.
