Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery is pleased to announce that Joyce Friedberg has joined the publication’s team of contributing writers. Moving forward, she will contribute the Ingredients articles in every regular issue, bringing years of practical food industry experience to the role.
Friedberg is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the food and flavor industry, and has worked in both retail and foodservice channels. She is now leveraging her skills and experience as a freelance consultant.
Friedberg has a broad-based business background with experience in product development, insights, marketing, strategy and innovation. She has held leadership positions with increasing responsibility at Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup Co. and Firmenich, a privately held flavor and fragrance company. She has successfully led multiple cross-functional teams to identify, create and launch new brands and product lines.
Friedberg earned her B.S. and M.S. in Food Science from Rutgers University. She also received an MBA certification from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
