Taylor Norton and Sam Blomfield, two experienced members of LeMatic’s engineering staff, have been tapped to make research and development their first and primary responsibilities.

“As LeMatic continues our focus on bringing advancements in packaging technology to the baking industry, we must dedicate our engineering talents to support the ongoing initiative.” says Richard Kirkland, president of LeMatic. “Sam and Taylor each possess the technical know-how and the creative spark necessary to explore and develop new packaging strategies.”

Taylor Norton is a 2008 graduate of LeTourneau University with a degree in Design Technology with a focus on mechanical design. Taylor joined the LeMatic team in 2015.

After graduation from Grand Ledge High School, Sam Blomfield attended ITT Technical Institute to obtain an associate degree in electrical engineering. Following college, he continues to advance his electrical and software design skills.

Taylor and Sam will work under John Eiler, LeMatic’s Director of Research and Development, and will continue to support the engineering team in general.
