Product Snapshot: Sanders has announced that its new line of gourmet cookies, made with real pieces of candy from the chocolate factory are now available for order online at sanderscandy.com.  

Families have enjoyed Sanders baked goods for more than a century and cookies are one of the company’s oldest products. 

“We turned to an old recipe from the original Sanders archives as the base for our cookies,” said Brian Jefferson, chairman and CEO of Sanders Candy. “To follow our tradition of making truly unique sweets, we then took actual pieces of candy from our chocolate factory and mixed them into the batter.”

Sanders Chocolate Factory Cookies were first introduced for individual purchase in its Metro Detroit Chocolate & Ice Cream Shoppes. Online shoppers can now order these same cookies by the dozen.

The new cookie flavors are similar to products available from Sanders, including two non-chocolate options:

“We bake these cookies fresh each day in our stores and online shoppers will get the same fresh baked experience,” said Jefferson. “We don’t have any cookies pre-boxed for mail order. Our bakers are on standby to bake cookies upon receipt of orders so every customer can be confident that their batch of cookies was made fresh just for them.” 

To celebrate the launch of the new line of cookies, Sanders is offering free standard shipping during the month of September when shoppers order the new cookies online along with select items like the company’s gourmet dessert toppings, popcorn or fruit and snack dips.
