PACK EXPO International 2018 will take place October 14–17 at McCormick Place in Chicago. PACK EXPO International annually showcases a wide range of packaging materials, containers and equipment. The show will bring together more than 2,500 exhibitors and 50,000 attendees.

The PACK EXPO exhibit hours will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Sunday, October 14 through Tuesday, October 16, and 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 17.

The new 50,000 square-foot PACKage Printing Pavilion will be dedicated to printing and converting technologies used in packaging, including digital printing for folding cartons, flexible packaging and corrugated packaging; cutting-edge labeling, coding and marking; on-demand, high-speed, cost-effective and customized print packaging; and smart packaging applications.

Additionally, PACK EXPO will host its regular pavilions:

• The Containers and Materials Pavilion—paperboard, glass, metal and plastics; flexible and resealable packaging; innovative containers; and sustainable choices
• The Confectionery Pavilion—aeration and batch refining; shaping, enrobing and cluster production; cooling conveyors; and easy-open packaging and portion control
• The Reusable Packaging Pavilion—reusable products and services, as well as solutions for increasing sustainability in your supply chain

Dow will also offer its annual Showcase of Packaging Innovations.

The PACK gives BACK networking reception and performance will take place on Monday, October 15 in the McCormick Place South Building’s Grand Ballroom. A reception will begin at 4:30 pm, with a performance by stand-up comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco at 5:30 pm. Proceeds from this annual networking event benefit the PACK EXPO Scholarship program.

The Snacking Industry Reception, sponsored by SNAC International, will take place in the Snack Break Lounge, North Hall, Booth N-4565, on Tuesday, October 16, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
