Like all of the company's products, the snack is made with non-GMO and certified gluten-free ingredients, including organic yellow corn, avocado oil, and seasonings.
The product will debut at this year's NRA Show, where the brand is inviting guests to sample offerings from Cape Cod, Kettle Brand, Goldfish, Snack Factory, Lance, and more.
The snack company says the facility produces 4% of the total annual volume of its Cape Cod products, and the site no longer makes economic sense for the business.
Most recently, the hire served as SVP and general manager in the accelerator division of Mars Snacking and was a key member of the division’s integration team.
The company will close its Hyannis, MA plant, the smallest site in its network in terms of size and volume, and shift production to more efficient plants.
