Chips Ahoy debuts ice cream sandwich-inspired cookie
The snack is available now at Walmart and grocery stores nationwide.

Mondelez International's Chips Ahoy brand is celebrating summer with the new Chips Ahoy! Chewy Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies. The cookie blends Chips Ahoy! Chewy cookies with a creme-filled center that reportedly delivers the flavors of a classic ice cream sandwich.
Consumers can enjoy the cookies straight out of the bag, or chill or freeze them for a refreshing treat.
The 9.9-oz packages are available now at Walmart and grocery stores nationwide, for an SRP of $5.29. The cookies will be available in stores for about 12 weeks.
"We’re always looking for ways to treat our fans to new experiences, especially when it ties into something we know many of them are already doing. Over the years, we’ve seen consumers buying ice cream and Chips Ahoy! cookies together to make ice cream sandwiches in the spring and summer months, so we thought, why not make a cookie that recreates that iconic summer experience anytime, anywhere. Try this one chilled in the freezer for a refreshing, sweet snack," suggests Sabrina Sierant, senior director, U.S. Chips Ahoy.
