Gericke bulk material feeder offered with assorted screws
The Feedos M comes with a choice of feed screws to meet specific material needs.

The Feedos M bulk material feeder from process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA features a choice of feed screws as standard to match the suitable screw design to the properties of the material in process. According to the supplier, the system permits one feeder to accurately feed and dose a wide range of flow-resistant and free-flowing powders, pellets, granules, and other dry solids, with screws that are interchangeable and easily removed, cleaned, swapped, and replaced without tools in seconds for fast, easy changeovers.
The company says the helix screw design provides smooth, efficient feeding for materials with light bulk densities, such as cocoa powder, without bridging, ratholing, or generating dust. The helix with center shaft screw is designed to offer a powerful rotating action in order to consistently feed heavier materials such as salt or corn meal, while the full flight screw offers a hygienic design intended to eliminate potential metal-to-metal contact. The feeder screws support flow rates from 20 l/h to 3600 l/h.
The Feedos M may be tested with the different feed screws on fully operating process equipment in the company's New Jersey test laboratory. The automated powder feeder is delivered ready for installation with a one-year warranty.
