JLS Automation, a provider of hygienic robotic packaging solutions for the food industry, marked its 70-year anniversary in August with a two-day Founder’s Week celebration at its headquarters in York, PA.

On Friends & Family Day, the company welcomed team members’ guests for live demonstrations of its hygienic robotic packaging machines and family-friendly activities. A falconer presented three birds in tribute to JLS’ machines, which are named after birds of prey. During the reception, Aaron Anderson, CEO of Logos Academy and lead pastor at Living Word Community Church, addressed attendees, followed by remarks from Craig Souser, JLS president & CEO. Both speakers emphasized the company’s commitment to community and the values that continue to shape its success.

Founder’s Day followed, bringing together customers, partners, and members of the media to commemorate the company’s founding. Visitors toured the facility, viewed machine demos, and engaged with subject matter experts. Tim Hadding, vice president of business relationships at National Beef Packaging Company, delivered a keynote highlighting the partnership between the two companies and JLS’ role in supporting National Beef’s growth.
