Day Out releases seasonal protein balls
The dessert-inspired snacks feature 9 g of plant-based protein per serving.

Day Out Snacks, a woman-owned brand specializing in dessert-inspired protein balls, has announced its seasonal collection of limited-time flavors.
The lineup includes Apple Cider Donut, available September 10; Pecan Pie, available October 15; and Gingerbread and Peppermint Bark, both launching December 1. All varieties are produced in small batches and available while supplies last.
“Seasonal indulgence and nutrition shouldn’t be mutually exclusive,” says Becky Dheri, founder and CEO of Day Out. “I want every new flavor to carry an emotional component, whether it’s apple picking or that once-a-year holiday recipe, so each of our seasonal offerings reflects something personal and nostalgic to me.”
Each flavor references a classic seasonal treat, adapted for health-conscious snacking. Apple Cider Donut is spiced and subtly sweet, Pecan Pie is nutty and gently spiced, Gingerbread features ginger and nutmeg notes, and Peppermint Bark features dark chocolate with peppermint.
Consumer feedback indicated interest in alternatives to pumpkin spice during cooler months. Peppermint Bark was the most requested flavor in brand surveys and social polls.
“We love our customers and we’re listening to them all the time,” says Dheri. “This year, we’re giving them what they want and then some.”
Each 4.5 oz bag contains nine protein balls (three per serving), with 9 g of plant-based protein per serving. The protein blend includes pea protein, chickpea, sacha inchi, and chia seed. All varieties are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, vegan, and non-GMO. Suggested retail price is $7.99.
