Pepperidge Farm goes for checkmate with new lineup
The company is adding three seasonal flavors to its Chessman brand.

Campbell's Pepperidge Farm brand is kicking off 2026 by reimagining one of its classics. The brand is debuting new varieties of its Chessmen shortbread cookies, its No. 1 cookie, it says.
The new lineup delivers Chessmen’s signature rich, buttery taste and crisp texture, crafted in three flavor profiles:
- Chessmen Salted Caramel: A balanced blend of buttery sweetness and a touch of sea salt
- Chessmen Cinnamon Sugar: A mix of sweet cinnamon and golden sugar
- Chessmen Brown Butter Pecan: Roasted pecans and brown butter notes for a toasty, nutty finish
The brand is also adding a new flavor to its Milano cookie lineup: Milano White Chocolate Mango, featuring sweet white chocolate and a bright, tropical pop of mango.
The four new cookies roll out to shelves starting this month for $5.89 per 7.25-oz. bag. Milano White Chocolate Mango and Chessmen Salted Caramel/Cinnamon Sugar will hit retailers nationwide, while Chessmen Brown Butter Pecan will sell exclusively at Walmart.
