Peanuts with spicy chilis and Sichuan peppercorns are one of Asia’s most famous snacks, and across the continent and in H Marts the most popular brand is Huang Fei Hong, which has recently been remastered in the U.S. as Wa-Chaa, the brand says.
Now, Wa-Chaa is adding to the legendary line-up with two new flavors that speak to the kung fu heritage of the brand while introducing contemporary takes, it adds:
- Sichuan Barbecue: This flavor blends the famous mala spices of the original with cumin and a bit of singed sweetness to create a standout flavor—for those who crave barbecue, but seek something special with a kick, the brand suggests.
- Salt & Sichuan Peppercorn: A new flavor experience, green Sichuan peppercorns but without the typical heat of chilis, with a bright, almost floral taste, Wa-Chaa notes. Numbing, not boring; interesting, not sugary, it adds.
Both flavors are real whole-food protein, with 10 g of protein per serving, and made with avocado oil.
