Dog Tag Inc. announces Henry V. Stoever IV as CEO
The nonprofit's bakery supports veterans and military families.

Dog Tag Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering veterans with service-connected disabilities, military spouses, and caregivers, has announced Henry V. Stoever IV as its next CEO, effective March 23.
Stoever has decades of experience leading and growing mission-driven and private sector organizations. His prior experience includes serving as president and CEO of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB), as CMO of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and many years in marketing roles in the private sector.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, his commitment to the military began in Panama and later in Kuwait, and it has been a cornerstone of his career. Stoever currently serves as a trustee of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and is a board member of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
Stoever succeeds Meghan Ogilvie, whose thirteen-year tenure reportedly transformed Dog Tag into a nationally recognized force for veteran empowerment. Under her stewardship, the organization has implemented a streamlined executive structure and consolidated its Fellowship Program to its flagship Washington, DC location—creating a strong operational foundation for the next chapter, the org says.
“The board of directors is thrilled to welcome Henry to the Dog Tag community, and we are thrilled he will lead us to and through our next exciting chapter. Henry’s vast and varied experience, his success in both the private and nonprofit sectors, and his commitment to the military equip him for success in this role,” says Rick Fondriest, chair of the Dog Tag board of directors.
Every visit to Dog Tag Bakery supports its mission to empower veterans and military families to build resilience, find renewed purpose, and forge community, the brand says.
