Chrissy Teigan takes over Ralph's in LA
To celebrate the evolution of her growing line of baking mixes and connect with her LA-based fans, cookbook author and Cravings founder Chrissy Teigen hosted a special “Checkout Takeover” at Ralphs Store 210 (11727 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles) on Thursday, March 26, featuring a meet-and-greet and in-store activations. Teigan also offered bites of baked goods made with Cravings’s baking mixes: the newly released Sweet & Sticky Carrot Cake Kit and Heavenly Coconut Key Lime Cake Mix. There were also several giveaways, including free box mixes for the first 100 customers and a $50 gift card to shop in stores. Cravings’ partnership with Ralphs reflects the brand’s continued momentum in the baking category, it says; over the past year, its non-GMO baking mixes have become a major growth driver, expanding into national retailers like Kroger and Thrive Market, as well as regional partners including HEB and Raley’s, with distribution now exceeding 3,000 stores nationwide.
Easter candy prices up 58% since 2021
Courtesy of Ylanite Koppens/Pexels FinanceBuzz has analyzed prices on popular Easter candy, looking at data from 2021–2026 to see how costs have changed over time. The website found that Easter candy prices have risen by 58% since 2021, more than double the national rate of inflation (24%). In addition, a typical Easter candy basket averages $15.32—up nearly 10% from last year alone—and among the stores it looked at, candy prices increased by $5.61 over a five-year period. The sharpest increase the site found was on Reese's Pieces Carrot bags (+100%, jumping from $1.00 to $2.00 over the five-year period). Likewise, it noted sharp price increases at retailers for other chocolate-forward Easter products, such as Easter-themed M&M's (+75%), Lindt Chocolate Bunnies (+61%), and Cadbury Creme Eggs (+57%).
Manischewitz creates Pistachio Matzah Crack recipe

With Passover just around the corner (April 1–9), Manischewitz has a few new Kosher for Passover launches. This year, the brand is also introducing a Pistachio Chocolate Matzah Crack recipe, a modern twist on a classic staple that transforms matzo into a shareable, dessert-style treat, it says. The matzah's crisp, neutral texture acts as a perfect canvas, the brand notes, holding up to rich layers of caramel, creamy pistachio, and melted chocolate without getting soggy. The result is a sweet, crunchy treat that feels both playful and indulgent, it adds. Using matzah gives the dessert a festive, timely nod to Passover, but its satisfying crunch and flavor appeal to anyone who loves creative, seasonal sweets, Manischewitz finishes. The return of the most-requested Cheetos flavor, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle, and launch of Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs calls for a plot twist just as spicy and unexpected as tangy dill pickle and Flamin’ Hot, PepsiCo says: a collab between superstar Megan Thee Stallion and rock legends Nickelback. Introducing “Pickle’s Back,” an over-the-top music video that reimagines Nickelback’s 2001 hit “How You Remind Me” with a Megan Thee Stallion twist. "Pickle's Back" is packed with high-tech heists, car chases, Flamin’ Hot Cheetle waves, and more. The video turns what could have been a quiet restock into a full-blown pop culture moment as the duo are on a mission to bring Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle back to the masses, PepsiCo adds. Additionally, Cheetos will host an exclusive auction in partnership with Goldin, featuring one-of-a-kind props from the music video set straight from the Cheetle-prints of Megan Thee Stallion and Nickelback. The auction will go live at the end of March.
