Voodoo Doughnut debuts flavor "trip"

Voodoo Doughnut is inviting guests to say “take me to your doughnut dealer” this 4/20 with the launch of its limited-time Blunt Box, available April 16–20. Flavors include: Breadstick Blunt (garlic, parmesan, and Italian seasonings, served with pizza sauce for dipping); Puff, Puff, Pass (chocolate cream, chocolate frosting, chocolate cereal puffs, drizzled with caramel); Maple Blazer Blunt (cinnamon sugar, dipped in maple frosting, topped with red sprinkles); Watermelon Sour High (dipped in sour watermelon frosting, topped with pink and green sprinkles); Jalapeño Popper Hotbox (jalapeño cream cheese, topped with a bacon strip, sprinkled with chives); and Wake & Bake Blunt (cinnamon sugar, dipped in Voodoo’s exclusive Magic Roast espresso frosting, topped with green sprinkles).

One of the most iconic sandwich classics—the BLT—has joined IHOP’s Value Menu, for a budget-friendly price of $6. BLT And Fries = BLTAF. IHOP is filing a trademark for BLTAF and even created an Urban Dictionary entry for it. The brand's (presumably Gen Z) social manager also says: "IHOP coined BLTAF as an iconic piece of modern slang that serves as a label (and lowkey flex) for anything that slaps on the first bite. The BLTAF turns a menu item into a moment. A culturally fluent, meme ready, no cap flex that positions IHOP as the home of big sandwich energy with even bigger savings." The new BLTAF features hickory-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toasted white bread, with a side of fries or hash browns at no extra cost.

Aldi is offering Coachella-goers a free curated “Festival Refuel Kit” bundle to those who spend $40+ on select groceries via Uber Eats, while supplies last. The deal will send weekend goodies straight to your Coachella Valley hotel, home rental, or campsite. Each kit is filled with festival essentials (like Summit Popz Prebiotic Soda, PurAqua Hydration Electrolytes Mix, and Elevation Double Chocolate Protein Meal Bars) to help consumers recharge and get back to the music. Shoppers will also get 30% off their $40+ order through Sunday, April 19. Shoppers within the delivery radius of these Coachella Valley Aldi stores are eligible to claim the offer: Coachella (50180 Cesar Chavez St), Palm Desert (72543 CA-111 Suite B), and La Quinta (78601 CA-111).

Calling all Eyekons …pop fandom meets snack obsession: Tru Fru teamed up with music group Katseye to celebrate the launch of its refreshed freeze-dried line, with a surprise product cameo appearing in the group’s new "Pinky Up" music video, out now. After becoming genuine Tru Fru fans backstage, the group brings that behind-the-scenes snack obsession to the spotlight in a playful nod within the video. Consumers can also keep an eye out for wild postings in select cities. The launch coincides with the brand's revamped freeze-dried line, delivering real fruit and chocolate with a crunch.

Incredible Group is expanding its consumer-favorite Squishi Toy Line with a new collection of officially licensed, scented sensory collectible inspired by Kraft Heinz household brands, including Kool-Aid, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs, and Jell-O. This new wave follows the success of earlier Squishi releases based on brands including Ring Pop, Bazooka, Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Fish, Oreo, and more, continuing the line’s reputation for turning pop-culture snacks into reportedly high-detail, high-collectibility sensory toys. Retailing at $6.99, the new Kraft-licensed Squishi collection will begin rolling out to retailers across North America this month and continue to hit shelves throughout the year.
