WP Bakery Group says it’s jumping into the North American industrial market in full stride with its entire industrial line of equipment now available to bakeries in North America. Newly-hired Jim Souza will spearhead the industrial sales division, giving customers access to WP’s technology and equipment around the world.
WP Bakery Group, Shelton, Conn., is making its bakery equipment available in North America, and announces that Jim Souza will spearhead the industrial sales division as vice president and director of industrial sales. Souza will focus on industrial and turnkey projects, including mixing, donut lines, laminating lines, oven systems, cookie-cracker systems and roll and bread lines.
Educated in mechanical engineering, Souza has worked for the past 20 years in the food and dairy industries, directing and managing operations, engineering, sales and customer relations functions on a global scale. Before joining the WP Bakery Group, he led industrial sales at I.J. White Systems, a spiral cooling manufacturer based in Farmingdale, N.Y.
