Baking Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds (BEMA), Overland Park, Kan., names Ed Fay, president of CMC America, Joliet, Ill., chairman of the board of directors. An active member for more than 30 years, Fay served as a board member from 1996-2004 and from 2006-2008. During his first term, he assisted in developing what is now BEMA’s Education and Scholarship Committee. Along with Candy Taylor and fellow committee members, Fay sought to improve what were then called “member benefits,” evolving them from affinity discounts to a scholarship program. In his most recent post on the board, Fay has served as a member of the Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Bakers Courtesy Club of Chicago.

Also joining BEMA's executive committee as third vice chairman is Terry Bartsch, vice president of sales at Shaffer–A Bundy Baking Solution, Urbana, Ohio. Rick Hoskins IV, president of Colborne Foodbotics, Lake Forest, Ill., was elected to his first term on BEMA’s board of directors. Hoskins is also a Bakers Courtesy Club of Chicago member. Congratulations to all.
