Applications are being accepted for the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) B.E.S.T. in Baking sustainability program, sponsored by Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery and Bundy Baking Solutions. The program recognizes suppliers that foster energy conservation, reduced water usage, a decrease in landfill waste, healthy living and/or a reduction of the overall impact on the environment.

Judging criteria will include reduction in distance to transport ingredients, packaging, equipment, a cut in greenhouse gas emissions, use of recycled/recyclable materials, solid sate reductions, energy savings, efficient design and construction, efficient applications, systems and lighting, use of renewable and clean sources of energy and more.

Qualifying participants will receive added exposure in Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery’s preshow guide, in industry press releases, on, in social media channels and more. They will also be identified in the Official Show Directory and within the B.E.S.T. in Baking Lounge on the Expo Floor.
